Oh the poor misunderstood youth. A coincidence that anti social behaviour and low level crime has plummeted on the estates where OP Leopard has been implemented?

I think not. Heaven forbid the police actually target individuals who do not know how to behave and spoil things for the law abiding minority.

You know, Chavs, football hooligans, criminals, anarchists, professional protesters (with no interest in the subject other than getting involved in disorder). If these people knew how to behave there would be no need for FITs

My error, should read "law abiding Majority" Freudian Slip maybe?

"A coincidence that anti social behaviour and low level crime has plummeted on the estates where OP Leopard has been implemented?"

interesting that you distinguish between anti-social behaviour and things that are actually crimes (albeit low-level ones).

thats the problem with anti-social behaviour law. you can pretty much claim any behaviour that annoys someone else, but isnt necessarily illegal, is "anti-social behaviour" and it then becomes illegal.

so you then get cops roaming round housing estates in essex terrorising anyone who their worldly-wise little brains can identify as "Chavs, football hooligans, criminals, anarchists" and justifying it in terms of protecting the public.

Nice to see some of the scumbags on the other side of the intelligence gathering for a change.

Are the pigs sending FITs to public events these days?

I was at Glastonbury festival this year, and quite a few times I saw 2 or 3 pigs together walking round with long-lensed cameras.... maybe with a couple of pocket cameras too. I didn't see them taking photos, nor do I remember if they had the blue bits on their uniform, but as soon as I saw them I thought they were FIlTth. I first heard about these bastards through the documentary Taking Liberties.

If the fascists have rolled this project out onto the streets where the Daily Mail readers don't live, I could imagine they'd send them to music festivals too to intimidate "Those damn drugged up, peace loving, filthy hippes, getting in the way of corporate profits!".

Anonymous said...

there were some FIlth at the anti-racism festival in victoria park in April too.

what i want to know more about are these 'professional protestors'. how do you become one of them and how much does the job pay? i hope they're paid on time, unlike us poor unfortunates who were out on J18 and are STILL waiting for the £30 and packed lunch we were supposed to receive, according to reports in the sunday times.

of course there is no such group as 'professional protestors', just people who feel strongly about a range of issues. but then i wouldn't expect a plod to be able to comprehend that, when most of the cops who post here seem hardly capable of stringing a sentence together let alone an argument.

There is alot of anger here. At the end of the day I think that there will always be a battle between them and us. So lets just crack on. You lot annoy us cops and shout such well thought out lines as,"Shame shame shame on you!" "Fascists" and my fav, "If you were not in that uniform I'd..." and we, in return will do what we always do....Win by hook or by crook.....Much like he-man did with Skeletor.....How was that for a sentance strung together!anyway got to go and drink a Starbucks in my 4x4!!

The above problem shows exactly what is wrong with so much of society these days... the us and them mentality. Maintaining divisions in society does nothing to help anyone. We're all the fucking same, no matter where we were born, where we live, what colour our skin is, whether we choose to wear a hoody or a uniform, whether we carry a knife/pepper spray or are only armed with words.

But here is a pig making his crusade comparable to He-Man.... THAT'S A FUCKING CHILDREN'S TV PROGRAMME. Grow up, the world is not black/white. There are no goodies and baddies. One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist.

Human beings seem to have mental processes where by to help understand complex situations we boil the various factors down into a couple of choices, then pick the obvious one.

Unfortunately this mentality and decision making process is very appealing, hence why it hasn't died out in society.

This thought process can be useful though too.... remember at school what they taught you in GCSE-level sciences? Well, most of that was very over simplified, but for people who are not going to pursue science further it provides a "good enough" understanding of the world. But most people don't go on to claim they are experts on those topics.

George Carlin (RIP) had it right:
"Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that."

The police force is very much an average job (there have been documented cases of people being rejected from the police because they were too inteligent - law enforcement don't want their agents to question what their masters tell them), and this government are lowering the barrier to entry with their new brown-shirts... sorry, community support officers.

And its not anger, its frustration and sorrow for people who join law enforcement hoping to make the world a better place (the ones that aren't just bullies in the first place) but simply end up being political stooges. People in the military are the same these days: The military should be for defense, not wars of aggression overseas for corporate interests.

Of course, when someone's salary depends on then not understanding a situation, then getting them to understand will be impossible....

PC Comment said the police would win by hook or by crook. So I suppose we can look forward to more places and numbers like the tottenham three and birmingham six.

I am like one of those athletic pace setters. Write a little blog, sit back and let you lot shout and scream.
We are different, my values are different from yours. Ergo different. We are not just armed with words, we are armed with powers and the knowledge of right from wrong. The police service is not an average job, it is a great job, where else can you get paid and enjoy your job and get a hoofing pension? Apart from the BBC and BP?. No one joins to change the world, after 25 years if you think that crime would have gone then you are very small minded, I don’t know one copper who thinks this! Who are you to comment on the Armed services. I take it you were in the Army, Navy, Air force, Royal Marines...No, thought so! And I don’t have to pretend to understand life to get my pay. I KNOW my role in life. I know what is right and what is wrong, that is where you and us(Police officers, soilders, sailors, airmen and Bootnecks will always differ.
Oh and one last thing, If you don’t like he-man then lets compare the battle between Stewie Griffin and his Mom,Louis....."You will bow before me!"

I would prefer it if you concentrated on knowing the law than knowing the difference between right and wrong. Certainly, given the number of cops who have extra-marital affairs (eg, er, 'Sweeney' Todd), who tip off people under investigation (such as Todd, again), who kill other people (like that Inspector who topped himself) and cops who 'misuse' police credit cards (eg Peter Salkeld), the ability to tell the difference between right and wrong doesn't lead to the ability to right instead of wrong. And if soldiers and that also know the difference between right and wrong, why do squaddies famously attack people unfortunate enough to encounter them out on the piss, and why do they beat captives to death? Because it's the right thing to do?

As for commenting on the armed forces, or indeed the police force, I can comment on those by virtue of paying for them, albeit paying unwillingly.

PC Comment, even with your record of stupid posts, this has got to be one of the dumbest.

We are the "pace setters" - we write the blog. Not you. We write the blog and watch you lot "shout and scream".

We are not forcing you to comment on OUR blog. Most of us don't even believe you are a cop.

PC Comment, you are clearly some kind of troll, so I must stop feeding you....

But the only way for there to be no criminals is for there to be no laws.

The current government has been adding something crazy like one hundred laws to the books for each year they've been in power, and fuck knows what the rate was before then.... it is essentially impossible for most people to not break one or two of the laws out there... making most people criminals in one way or another. Which is why you should never ever co-operate with a policeman if they want to speak to you. Given half a chance, they will use your infraction (which may or may not have a victim) as a step towards their next payrise and/or promotion.

Its no wonder you like being a pig... the job is getting easier and easier as time goes on!

And thanks for confirming that no-one joins the police to try and make society better.... it proves that only bullies join the police!

Pc comment here. One thing you do get in the job is a thick skin. So by calling me a troll I think you have great wit.....well half of it anyway!

The demo scene is upon us. At your next meeting start a chant asking me to show myself. I will that will prove I am job. Then after we can down tools and go for a pint.

Oh and FITwatch....At least I am getting people talking.....What are you doing to promote this site. At least start selling funny T-shirts....Then we can Swapsies..Just like Swap shop!!Oh and by the way Dominican Republic or Cuba for a summer holiday??

PC dude - post us a photo of yourself holding up a bit of paper with today’s date, your name, station and badge number, if your so sure of yourself.

I will try,but there might already be one of me on the site or on Indymedia!!

What if I was wearing a V mask?

Failing that, ask a question that only a officer of the law would know the answer to!

Scan your copy of the Netcu handbook, all the pages because anyone can get the front cover.

Educating the youths of today is surely the way forward with your'Messages' not creating conflict with your aggressive tactics...and weekly advice
I am sure that the Police on these jobs would much prefer to use tax payers money to catch the 'scum on the streets' rather than babysitting the Minority of protestors-not majority who spend their time educating the world on how to be obstructive in their focus and message and police whilst they do their job to ensure a peaceful protest.

Going back to my opening paragraph of the next generation every step you take, move you make yes they will be watching you (FIT) but so will those influential young people..what is the real message you are sending? that it is okay to terrorise the neighbourhood without ANY intervention by the police?
That it is okay to obstruct law and create a society where people hide behind the four walls of their own homes?

Let the FIT do their job, let the right message be conveyed in the right ways. Let these people feel safe in their own homes and gang culture to become a thing of the past.

If you were in the situation of having bricks through your windows..who would you turn to?

If you were protesting and were attacked or raped by a stranger who would you turn to???

er...

my mates, certainly not a gang of thickos and thugs who couldn't catch the murderer of a well-known tv presenter and had to make do with the local weirdo.

Hey PC Comment - perhaps you were part of the colouring in crayon confiscation unit who dropped the whole guide in the climate camp field?

Hey, thanks PC comment for being so helpful for passing your book to activists to post online. However still waiting on the image with your face, name, id number and station on it ha ha.

In two parts:
http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2008/08/405393.html
http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2008/08/405409.html

It's really not very exciting, just a summary of various public order laws for poorly-trained pigs.

'Training, Standards and Tactical Options' is more of a page-turner.

yeah, it's not that exciting.
