When Ian Tomlinson was put to the floor by a cop shortly before he died, one of the police officers with whom he appears to be trying to speak to seems to be FIT.
Can anyone identify him?

Don't accept the 'one rotten apple' spiel. Too many coppers watched him go down. Too many coppers kept their mouths shut. Too many coppers were glad he died.

've read quite a few reports of police officers on the protests deliberately covering up their police numbers on their uniforms before attacking protestors, and this seems to have been the case with the one who attacked Ian Tomlinson. What are the procedures for investigating and prosecuting these officers, obviously by definition they're hard to identify but I'd imagine it's taken very seriously in disciplinary terms, at least in theory. The police officer has a duty to identify him or herself, and we have a right to be able to identify him. This should be taken very seriously on all demos - if a cop has no numer showing, get right in his face and take his picture, and make it clear to him you will be sending it to the relevant authorities - or maybe posting it online. Anyone with more more spare time than me care to start a fitwatch-style website exposing police officers who hide their badges, in fact?
In the Antagonist link from this blog look at the baseball cap worn by the person in the foreground of the first picture.
Other examples of this certain baseball cap can be seen being worn by FIT photographers both on this blog site and also on flickr under the group forwards intelligence.Is this a coincidence or maybe not? If the cap FIT's and all that. itsafitup/little brother 84

The * point * is * that * the * thugs * covered * their * numbers * with * the * express * intention * of * visiting * cowardly * brutal * behaviour * upon * people - people of their own society. Behaving just like brutal collaborating swine and traitors. Does this help you to see why these enemies within must be exposed and withdrawn from public service? I do hope so.
